I had problems with practicing meditation up until recently. Somehow I couldn’t focus. I think staying focused is what matters and that’s why meditating doesn’t work for everyone. I created a quiet place for me in my house and that gave me the extra focus I needed. It’s way easier now!

Well, it seems the new mayor has decided to cancel all streetcars. Which makes sense if they were only going to turn functional streets into college street. For those that don’t know Toronto’s College Street is a totally disfunctional street with cycles, streetcars, and cars trying to use a single lane. The other lane is taken up with parking most of the week. Yes parking. And remember parking means parallel parking and most folks take a few attempts with that, further slowing down traffic on the one lane that works.

*sigh*

Any wonder I left town?

I was on the line with Rogers talking about adding more products on my account and I hung up to get this call from BC, only to find out that it’s a telemarketer from the SAME company? This is too funny! I ended up canceling the add-on due to this interrupting call! I can’t wait for my contract to be over….

I just received a call from 250-260-3907 and it said it was coming from British Columbia?! I have relatives out there but none of them have my phone number so I knew it probably wasn’t any of them and why would they be calling me? they never call… If you don’t know the number don’t answer is my motto. If it’s important they will leave a message or try again in 2 minutes. People need to get a real job, who ever thought of telemarketing as a job is a real douche bag!!

Feel like sort of envy about your “vacation” there. I often think of spending a few days in such place, as you’ve described, but couldn’t give this thought the concrete form. Now it’s obvious that I’d rather go there, as soon as i’d have a possibility for a real rest hope, there will be no hurricanes:) wonder, how you’ve learned about that site. Don’t you mind telling me this secret?
